I wanna be a WAKEBOARDER, so freaking bad...buying all the STING I never had. I wanna be on the cover of REDH0RSE magazine, smiling next to C0BRA ENERGY, ohhh every time I close my eyes, I see my name in SAN MIG LIGHT...
If you are a beginner, and of course you want to learn but you want to avoid the crowded main cable park, just go to the beginner lake where you can showcase your epic failures not mentioning that the trainers are very supportive. But, unlike the main cable park which has a constant speed of 31 km/hr, the beginner area is much easier since the cable speed will start from 5 km/hr incrementing to a full speed of 31 km/hr depending on the operator.
Don't forget to try the knee boarding first before you decide to learn how to wakeboard standing.
Knee boarding. Piece of cake!
Here's the real deal. When you feel that you can make it already to the main cable park, go with it. No guts no glory! Keep in mind that the only difficult part is the take off or the dock start. Just remember your training, "heels down, toes up". Personally, jump start using bindings is much easier compared to the sitting start using ordinary wake board.
The take off!
Don't ever think that you are the only novice in the place. You will meet many people in CWC who is new to the sport like you. Foreigners or not, everyone is very willing to help you too.
Visit this site, for more details of the place...
